How do you bid renovations work?

For most renovations that are smaller in scope, most builders, including Constructive Builders, will offer a fixed bid. For larger projects, we offer options similar to that of a custom home. See our custom home FAQ [link] for details on cost plus billing.

 

How do you compare with other remodeling companies?

Consumers need to be especially careful when picking a remodeler. While many consumers are on tight budgets, it’s very important to pick a reputable company that has experience, references and is properly licensed and insured. We are not a fly-by-night company, nor are we a corporate “Basement Finishes ‘R Us” company that may stick you with an inexperienced or undesirable crew. We’ll treat your project with as much importance as the custom homes we create, with amazing results.

 

What are key items to consider with renovations?

Often a renovations work is far more complex than a new home, especially if you plan to live in your home during renovations. Once building permits and plans are in place, it’s key to hire a contractor who will respect your space and your timelines, so that you can get back to living in your home! You also want to be sure that the crew is professional, cleanly and will respect your property. We have a respectable, clean-cut crew and provide on-site supervision of all subcontractors to ensure quality.
